Mimecast Limited is a leading email and data security company. This week they announced that they will be participating in GITEX Technology Week 2016 along with Bulwark Technologies, its distributor.
It will showcase its full array of email and data security solutions and services as well as demonstrate how it protects its customers against advanced phishing and hacking attacks with its Targeted Threat Protection. The exhibition is being held October 16th-20th, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
“Our recently released research reveals that organizations globally believe that they are their own worst enemy when it comes to cybersecurity; with 45 percent saying they are ill-equipped to cope with the threat of malicious insiders and 90 percent calling malicious insiders a major threat to the organizations’ security. Email continues to remain the attack vector of choice for cyber-criminals, where they are constantly evolving their tactics to breach the organizations security by bypassing traditional email security defenses. This holds true for all organizations in including those in the Middle East,” Brandon Bekker, Mimecast’s Managing director said.
At GITEX 2016, our security experts will discuss the top email attack strategies being used by cyber criminals and demonstrate how these work by performing a series of live hacks for visitors at our stand. We plan to highlight how our cloud- based email security services and our capabilities of Targeted Threat Protection, help reduce the risk, complexity and costs traditionally associated with protecting email. We look forward to meeting our existing and prospective customers and partners and scout for new partners in countries where we do not have a strong presence,” Bekker continued.
Part of its GITEX 2016 line up include promotion of their new Mimecast Email Security that protects against malware, spam, advanced phishing and other emerging attacks. It also prevents data leaks.
Mimecast will also showcase its security cloud service that protects customers from email attacks known as CEO Fraud, Business Email Compromise or Whaling. It’s service, Impersonation Protect, extends their Targeted Threat Protection.
Mimecast is also hosting an event at Conrad Hotel that will be teaching business decision makers about the importance of “building a human firewall” buy deploying advanced security technology, as well as educating employees on how to interrogate their emails and protect the business as well as themselves from being easy targets in the cyber-crime industry.
