A New Blockchain Conference In France
There seems to be a paradigm shift regarding how these blockchain conferences are being organized as of late. In the early days, it was all about attracting regular people, and educating them on this wondrous technology. Despite very steep ticket prices, Bitcoin and blockchain events were approachable by anyone in the world.
Things have started to change, though, as more of these events are now taking place behind closed doors. The time has come to engage in an open dialogue between government officials and industry experts. Unfortunately, that means there is little to no room left for the average person at some of these events.
On October 4, 2016, a new blockchain event will take place in France. Dubbed as the “Parliamentary Forum Blockchain”, this event will “decipher the realities of this revolutionary technology”. To be more precise, France wants to position itself as a reference country for blockchain technology in Europe, and perhaps even the world.
One thing to keep in mind is how various blockchain startups will be invited to showcase their project during this event. Such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for some of these companies could play a significant role in the future of blockchain technology. Plus, it is an excellent opportunity to showcase what the technology can do in real life.
Events like these may have little appeal to the general public, but that doesn’t make them any less important to the overall ecosystem. Blockchain technology is a booming industry, yet there are a lot of questions people have that need to be answered. The Parliamentary Forum Blockchain may be able to address some concerns government officials might have regarding this technology.
