Last week, MicroStrategy’s ($MSTR) premium skyrocketed to a historic high of 161%, fueled by growing market excitement.

The surge in interest comes as the company prepares to adopt the new ASC 350 accounting standard by 2025, allowing them to report Bitcoin holdings at fair value.

This change could add approximately $3 billion to MicroStrategy’s retained earnings, potentially paving the way for the firm’s inclusion in the S&P 500. Such a move would not only increase the company’s market appeal but also enhance liquidity.

Despite Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently selling his $MSTR holdings, Smart Money, whales, and early buyers have aggressively accumulated the token. Over the last 24 hours, $MSTR has become one of the top three tokens accumulated by Smart Money.

Notably, a Smart Dex Trader (0x48d9*) who previously made $1.29 million (108%) from $PEPE and $3,200 from $AAVE purchased 254.3K $MSTR worth $339,000 just 12 hours ago. Meanwhile, an early buyer of $MSTR (0x4206*)—with a win rate of 50%—recently sold 9K $MSTR but followed up with a purchase of 20K $MSTR, worth $23,800, just one hour ago. This trader currently holds $664.2K worth of $MSTR (540K tokens) and stands to make a profit of $745K if they choose to sell.

However, not all news is positive. One unfortunate $MSTR holder, who had previously made 20x returns, lost $347,868 after unknowingly signing a phishing transaction, which drained their wallet. This incident underscores the persistent threats in the crypto space and highlights the importance of security when handling digital assets.

While the phishing scam is a cautionary tale, the overall sentiment around $MSTR remains bullish, with strong accumulation trends suggesting confidence in the token’s future performance.
