IBM introduces the beta version of their Bluemix blockchain

So far, there have been several reports regarding IBM’s blockchain projects, most of which have managed to stir up the waters.

According to recent reports, IBM has just announced that their Blockchain service, over on Bluemix, is now available in beta. While the company did release an experimental version of the platform back at InterConnect 2016, the beta version will come forward with several new features.

To put things better into perspective, the IBM Blockchain service over on Bluemix aims to allow users to spin up the blockchain network while also avoiding the difficulties often associated with manually creating an environment where development can take place. Based on this, rather than creating and managing a network all by themselves, users can take advantage and use their time for actually focusing on their project.

Some of the new features included in the beta version of the app include a blockchain transaction view, new samples alongside with tutorials, an integrated UI that allows developers to both explore, but also use the available blockchain APIs, and last but not least, the possibility to invoke and deploy blockchain logic, directly from the app’s dashboard.

The IBM Blockchain service on top of Bluemix represents a part of IBM’s plan to make the blockchain ready for various business approaches.

Based on everything that has been outlined so far, what do you personally think about the new beta version of the IBM Blockchain? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
