The expedition started in the middle of April, with the World Blockchain Forum in Dubai. Since then, DataBroker DAO has made stops in Germany, London, and will make stops in China as well as Australia before the year is over. The full list of destinations they have been to and will be present at is below:
The exposure will not only be good for DataBroker DAO but also a good opportunity for interested parties to join DataBroker DAO’s Alliance. Many companies are looking for an economical and ethical way to gain relevant sensor data, and DataBroker DAO’s offerings do just that.
With the IoT market already valued at $600 billion, a number that is expected to increase two-fold in the next three years, all sectors within the cryptocurrency sphere as well as in other areas such as agriculture, home security, etc. will take interest in what DataBroker DAO has to offer.
The beta version of their trading platform is already open to the public, allowing for anyone to understand how the market platform will work when the mainnet release goes live sometime in Q2 2018.
Q2 will also see the integration of gateway operators, responsible for onboarding millions of sensors in one go, as well as the setup and onboarding of an extended team as DataBroker DAO operations scale.
Q3 will bring with it the improvement of the frontend interface to assist in integration for gateway operators with no integrated approach or existing system to integrate with. Q4 will enable private data sales to allow companies to sell to anyone besides a competitor, or a small group of vetted buyers. Frontend work will also continue this quarter.
Lastly, in Q1 of 2019, DataBroker DAO plans to roll out data enhancement integrations. Providing valuable services based on the existing raw data provided through libraries and integrations for common tools will begin to roll out for data processors in the Alliance this quarter.
Concurrently, DataBroker DAO also recently announced the launch of their main token sale, which followed a successful presale. Both offered discounts, with the presale offering tokens at a price of $0.23 per token, and the main sale offering 10% discount for the first week.
