Cryptocurrency exchange, Changelly has added anon Crypto PIVX to their platform. The listing brings the number of supported digital currency by the exchange to 44 at the moment.
Speaking to The Merkle, Elisha Owusu Akyaw, member of the PIVX Team expressed his outfit’s excitement with the development. “PIVX being added to Changelly presents a new option for our users,” he emphasised. “Now users can now buy PIVX directly with credit cards in addition to exchanging the other cryptocurrencies on the platform for PIVX.”
It is worthy of mentioning that Changelly is among a few exchanges where the use of credit cards to purchase Cryptocurrencies are allowed. Just only a year of its inception, many up and coming cryptos aspire to get on it.
The move is an excellent one for PIVX as it has been waning in growth in recent times. Two weeks ago, it was the 10th most valuable digital currency but declined, and it was at the 14th spot at the time of filing this report.
The PIVX community is convinced being listed by Changelly will aid their upward adjustment. This is what Elisha said:
“Yes, every addition no matter how big or small it is will boost the growth of the PIVX ecosystem. This addition, in particular, comes at a crucial time. At this stage, PIVX has seen several exchange integrations which have offered cryptocurrency exchange options only, with Changelly users can now buy/sell PIVX directly paired against the US Dollar which solves the buy Bitcoin first problem.”
When The Merkle asked him whether the outcome presents any challenge, he responded contrarily and explained that it is just the need for the community to develop after every addition. “Now that we are on Changelly, we need to work on getting on other platforms, and maybe that is the only challenge.”
As to whether being listed on one of the most important Exchanges presents an opportunity for PIVX, only time will tell.
