The Ethereum Enterprise Alliance (EEA) has recently welcomed its’ latest member in the form of blockchain-based music platform VOISE. The group is the largest open source blockchain alliance in the world and will give Voise direct access to a network including some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies as well as to insight from top global Ethereum experts. With the benefit of expert advice and industry networking, Voise is set to fly on its mission to decentralize music.

Switzerland-based Voise had only just launched its hotly anticipated platform a month earlier in October, when it revealed ongoing application to achieve full membership of the prestigious EEA. The successful application will be well received by the music community, as it now links Voise to some of the most recognized companies in the world in the sectors of education, consulting, and of course blockchain and financial technology.
The opportunity to engage directly with the likes of Bancor, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, Microsoft and many more is certain to be start of wider networking and more successful partnerships for Voise, who are pioneering efforts to decentralize music by eliminating middlemen and third parties monopolizing the global music streaming industry.
With 110 million customers already paying for music online, music companies and artists are abandoning conventional record sales, and converting to new online distribution models.
However, the major platforms that facilitate this keep a high percentage of revenue generated from paid downloads – in some cases up to 40%. Streaming services charge even more, resulting in a revenue model which benefits centralized monopolies and gives music artists less than they deserve. The high costs of distribution are also stifling the growth of independent artists, who have limited resources available as a result.
Voise intends to eliminate this disparity, building on earlier blockchain-based platforms trying to achieve decentralization, by taking down their complexities and making it simple to use for mainstream users. It will target both casual music listeners and crypto communities, allowing them to deposit, withdraw and pay in both crypto and fiat, using Voise tokens or ETH.
Users can search for new music using Voice’s theme-based search engine via favorite artists and genres, or directly access popular music and top downloads. The platform also features Radio DAO, which will announce the latest music and updates on Voise developments.
It also facilitates use by music artists, who can set their own prices and update a rich profile section to attract new fans. Or they can choose to give their music free and accept donations instead.
Voise continues to record rapid developments, from a great concept, to delivering a fully-working alpha product. Guided by its’ principle of producing a decentralized and artist-focused platform, its’ end game is the elimination of the commission-heavy business model of the current industry and ensuring that artists gain the most from music revenue.
Voise has updated its roadmap to reflect this new partnership and touch on future features such as artist verification and a search engine. It is also considering the creation of a music community for South Korea to attract possible investment in the emerging market.
Endorsed by Grammy-nominated artist Carolyn Malachi and DJ sensation Jinco, Voise strengthens its industry presence by partnering with reputable companies MicroMoney and Coinomi.
All these have led to high prospects for VOISE tokens, which continues to see appreciation of value and market capitalization as seen on CoinMarketCap. Thanks to listings on leading cryptocurrency exchanges including Bit-z, CoinExchange and LiveCoin, VOISE tokens are being traded with increasing volumes on the open market.
