Bitcoin Is Gaining Traction Among VR Porn Studios

Bitcoin is a global payment solution that can be used for any product or service. The adult industry has seen moderate success ever since accepting cryptocurrency, albeit it is not as widespread as it could be. VR porn sites, on the other hand, are more than willing to accept Bitcoin payments by the look of things.

VR Porn Is As Good A Market As Any Other

Getting Bitcoin into the hands of as many people as possible is still the ultimate goal. To do so, use cases for cryptocurrency will need to be established. That number of use cases has grown throughout the years, yet mainstream Bitcoin adoption is still small. That is not deterring VR porn studios from experimenting with Bitcoin payments, though.

While it remains to be seen how mainstream VR porn will become in the coming years, it is an exciting market. Not just for the content mind you, but the adult industry has a global reach and appeal. Just because it is now in Virtual Reality does not mean adult content will become less popular all of a sudden. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if it became even more popular.

When looking over the list of VR porn studios in existence today, it is not difficult to see this could become a booming market. With prominent names such as Naughty America and Vixen on board with the VR trend, there is plenty of content to go around. But what is even more intriguing is the number of platforms accepting Bitcoin payments right now.

The vast majority of VR porn websites will accept PayPal payments, as is to be expected. After all, it is the most commonly used payment method on the Internet right now. But there are a good number of VR adult content providers that see no problem with Bitcoin payments, which is a positive trend for cryptocurrency as a whole.

So far, nine different virtual reality adult content providers are accepting Bitcoin payments. For now, there is no “Bitcoin exclusive” site just yet, but that may only be a matter of time. Who knows, maybe Xotika.tv will venture into the world of virtual reality at some point? That would be quite interesting, to say the least.
