Since December 4, these entities have transferred 6.1 million USDC to Wintermute and acquired 12.99 million AIXBT ($4.26 million), 31.25 million NFTXBT ($0.5 million), and 1,136 EMP ($0.33 million). Notably, AIXBT alone has generated a floating profit of $2.15 million, reflecting a 50% gain.
AIXBT has surged 39% to a current price of $0.5018, now commanding 65% of the AI agent market’s mindshare. Recently listed on Binance Alpha, it holds the #197 rank on CoinGecko, boasting a market cap exceeding $500 million. As the largest AI agent within the Virtuals ecosystem, AIXBT has gained significant traction across the Base network, surpassing memecoins like TURBO and DEGEN in trading activity.
Meanwhile, whale activity continues in the broader AI token space. Wallets 6ZFcxR…JkZV and HRQXKj…bVFr, possibly controlled by the same entity, spent 22,641 SOL ($4.34 million) to purchase 2.62 million ai16z tokens at an average price of $1.66 over the past five hours. Similarly, wallet FU9b2c…fHyc bought 1.19 million ai16z tokens at $1.39, spending 1.65 million USDC just eight hours ago.
This surge in interest reflects a growing shift toward decentralized AI projects, with AIXBT emerging as a market leader in this rapidly evolving sector. Its impressive growth highlights the increasing focus on AI-driven solutions within the crypto ecosystem.
