Tasty New Features in Android Oreo

Are you wondering what new features Android 8.0 brings to Android phones? The Android O has finally been revealed as Android 8.0 Oreo. This update was actually launched during last month’s solar eclipse. Google stated that Android 8.0 will make your device faster, smarter and more powerful than ever before. There are numerous improvements in the latest update and some new features like picture-in-picture and increased security protections. New Features

Android 8.0 Oreo offers plenty of new features for your favorite smartphones. Read on to learn more.

Picture-in-Picture

One of the greatest features to be introduced by Android Oreo is its picture-in-picture capability. This feature enables you to watch any video on a smaller screen while you work on your email or anything else. In other words, this feature lets you use 2 apps at the same time.

Stronger Security

Another feature that Android Oreo introduces is increased security. This update is more secure than past ones, as it has built-in Google Play Protect. Along with this, Oreo places your security status front and center in the settings and has strict app install controls. These make it more secure than previous versions of Android.

New Emoji

The emoji library has been redesigned, and 60 new emoji have been added. Google has made icons more consistent in terms of style and size. Moreover, Google has added badges as well. The latter feature is one which Apple has had for many years in iOS.
