This initiative sponsored by Sportsbet.io is part of an elaborate campaign – ’Know No Borders – to further improve the awareness of Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Taking Bitcoin Beyond Borders

The Hornets had earlier in June announced a 3-year long landmark deal with Sportbet.io – to become a beneficiary of a EUR 20 million sponsorship. Gesture For Mass Adoption
Head of Sportsbet.io Marketing, Justin Le Brocque, shared insight into why the initiative was important, saying that it was their own way of showing gratitude to the entire cryptocurrency community as well as their platform users. He said:
“The crypto community has been massively supportive of us since our beginnings, so putting the Bitcoin logo on the sleeve felt like a fun way to give back while also showing our support for the community.”
Acknowledging how important it was to educate the masses about the use of cryptocurrency for mass adoption, Le Brocque further noted that this move amplifies the effort to get the word on Bitcoin out there. Football fans will get to see the Bitcoin logo on the pitch during the 2019/2020 session any time Watford team plays at home. The addition of Bitcoin logo will hopefully create a buzz in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, as no football club has attempted such a feat.
