The renowned whale dimethyltryptamine.eth, known for turning a $45K investment into a staggering $25.2M with $PEPE, has jumped into the latest memecoin sensation: $MOODENG.
Just 14 hours ago, this savvy trader swapped 54 $ETH (worth $139K) for 2.105 billion $MOODENG tokens. The whale is already enjoying a profit of $62.5K (+45%).
In addition to $MOODENG, dimethyltryptamine.eth holds substantial stakes in other popular memecoins, including:
– 1.97 trillion $PEPE, valued at $20.2M, with an estimated total profit of $25.2M (+55,978%);
– 147.5 billion $MOG, worth $249K, with an estimated profit of $847K (+487%);
– 711.7 million $WOJAK, valued at $523K, with an unrealized profit of $276K (+109%).
Meanwhile, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has made headlines by selling 10 billion $MOODENG tokens for 308.69 $ETH (approximately $762K). He then transferred 260.16 $ETH ($642K) to the charity Kanro. Despite this sale, Vitalik still holds 40 billion $MOODENG tokens, currently worth an impressive $8M.
Vitalik took to Twitter to express his appreciation for memecoins that contribute to charitable causes. He mentioned that he prefers communities to donate directly or even form decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) to make these donations more impactful. Vitalik highlighted that the 10 billion $MOODENG he sold would be going to fund anti-airborne disease technology.
He added, “I think the best thing for memecoins is if they can be maximally positive-sum for the world, so it’s great to see moments when that actually happens!”
As the hype around $MOODENG grows, traders and investors are keeping a close eye on its performance, while the token’s philanthropic ties continue to set it apart from other memecoins.
