BlockDAG’s Dev Release 126 Tackles Real-Time Data Needs with Enhanced EVM & UTXO Explorers—Post Testnet Improvements
Staying ahead in the fast-paced crypto world is essential, and that’s exactly why BlockDAG is rolling out Dev Release 126. This update enhances the blockchain’s capabilities, helping everyone keep pace with the latest trends. This update enhances the functionality of the BlockDAG EVM and UTXO Explorers, giving users real-time, comprehensive insights into transactions.
With these updates, monitoring daily blockchain activities is easier, which ramps up user engagement. Following valuable feedback from the testnet launch, BlockDAG continues to strengthen its reputation by consistently rolling out updates and maintaining transparent communication with its community.
Dev release 126 has upgraded the BlockDAG EVM Explorer, enabling it to provide real-time data on daily transactions within the BlockDAG ecosystem. As per updates, the Explorer now tracks the exact number of daily transactions, clearly displaying how active the blockchain is and highlighting high usage times.
Users can also view charts that show changes in transaction activity over time, helping to spot trends, understand growth patterns, and see the effects of new applications or market events on transaction volumes.
Additionally, each transaction includes detailed data such as gas fees and block information, which is valuable for developers optimising smart contracts and traders analysing network performance.
Parallel to this, the UTXO Explorer has updates, providing a unique way to monitor network activity on the BlockDAG blockchain. Unlike the daily stats emphasised by the EVM Explorer, the UTXO Explorer highlights the total number of transactions conducted on the UTXO model side of the blockchain since inception. This model enables fast, efficient transactions and is ideal for high-volume, low-fee microtransactions.
Key features include viewing the total transaction count, reflecting the network’s growth and user trust. The Explorer also displays the latest UTXO blocks and detailed transaction data, such as transaction size, fees, and input/output information. These real-time statistics from both explorers provide BlockDAG users with essential tools to thoroughly understand the network’s performance and growth.
Moving ahead, Dev Release 126 gives a peek at the potential of the future BlockDAG Mainnet. The Testnet has processed over 26,199 transactions, demonstrating vibrant activity and growing adoption from the community.
This includes everything from developers testing smart contracts to users exploring decentralised applications (dApps) and making mock transactions. Each interaction shows increasing trust and interest in the platform.
Another milestone has been reached by producing 30,793 blocks on the Testnet. This achievement highlights the strength of the blockchain’s infrastructure, which supports the network’s security and decentralisation. Every new block adds stability and confidence, proving that BlockDAG is ready to handle high transaction volumes securely and efficiently.
The latest dashboard data from the BlockDAG Explorer offers key insights into the platform’s progress. The BlockDAG coin is stable at $0.0192, showcasing market confidence as the Mainnet launch nears—a good sign for early adopters testing dApps. The Testnet has validated up to block 30,796, ensuring that all data is secure and immutable.
The total block count is 30,797, indicating robust network health and security, crucial for a trustless, decentralised environment. There’s also active participation, with 26,202 transactions logged, highlighting a vibrant ecosystem. Moreover, these transactions have totalled $46,870.67 in value, indicating significant potential as BlockDAG gears up for its next big step.
Lastly, the BlockDAG Explorer’s transaction history graph offers a real-time snapshot of network activity. The week observed started with lower transaction volumes on Thursday, suggesting a quieter period following recent updates. However, activity picked up as the weekend approached, indicating increased user interactions as they tested features on the Testnet.
By Tuesday, transaction volume spiked noticeably, culminating in an all-time high on Wednesday. This peak marked the most active day on the network to date, highlighting growing user engagement as more features are tested and more transactions occur.
BlockDAG’s Dev Release 126 has effectively pushed the blockchain’s functionality forward, capitalising on the insights from the testnet phase. These technical improvements have reinforced user confidence, evident from the advanced real-time data capabilities in the EVM and UTXO Explorers.
With these updates, users now have a clearer view of daily blockchain activities, enhancing trust and engagement. BlockDAG has secured $76.1 million in its latest presale batch, implying strong community support. This progress sets the stage for even greater developments as BlockDAG innovates in the crypto space.
