Arbitrum Unlocks 92 Million Tokens As Pressure Mounts On Multiple Projects

The Arbitrum project continues to face disappointment from the crypto community, with persistent token unlocks adding pressure to an already shaky sentiment.

Today, 92 million Arbitrum tokens (approximately 0.93% of the total supply) will be unlocked, fueling concerns about further price drops.

In addition to this, the project is dealing with the pressure of 4.28 billion locked ARB tokens, which could be unlocked over time, adding more downward pressure on the token’s value.

Other Crypto Token Unlock Asides Arbitrum

The current token unlock trend is not limited to Arbitrum. Across various projects, $133 million worth of tokens are about to flood the market in the coming days. Here’s a breakdown of upcoming token unlocks:

– $ARB: $48.96 million worth of tokens will be unlocked on September 16, adding to Arbitrum’s ongoing supply expansion.
– $APE: $11.56 million in tokens set to be unlocked on September 17.
– $PRIME: $5.87 million worth of tokens to be released on September 17.
– $PIXEL: $7.33 million in tokens unlocked on September 19.
– $LISTA: $8.66 million worth of tokens set to unlock on September 20.

– $GAL: $1.30 million in tokens to be unlocked on September 22.
– $ENA: $3.11 million in tokens to be unlocked on September 22.

With so many tokens scheduled to unlock, the market could face significant volatility in the near term. Investors are likely bracing for potential price corrections as these tokens become available for trading, with many watching closely to see how each project manages the influx of liquidity into the market.
