BlockTower Capital And Crypto Whales Make Major Moves With EIGEN, Amid Losses

BlockTower Capital has recently made another significant withdrawal, pulling 372,578 EIGEN tokens (worth $1.18 million) from FalconX.

Over the past seven days, the venture capital firm has accumulated a total of 1.026 million EIGEN tokens ($3.57 million) from Wintermute Trading and FalconX, with an average purchase price of $3.482.

However, the firm currently faces an unrealized loss of $167,000, representing a -4.66% downturn.

EIGEN is now BlockTower Capital’s third-largest holding, trailing only behind 7,663 MKR ($9.27 million), which has an estimated loss of $2 million (-7%), and 213,646 MPL ($4.03 million), which is performing better with a total profit of $1.19 million (+30.8%).

Crypto Whale Suffers Over $500K Loss 

Meanwhile, a crypto whale staked 1.63 million EIGEN tokens, valued at $5.47 million, just 40 minutes ago. This whale had spent 2,471 ETH ($6.03 million) to acquire 1.63 million EIGEN tokens at an average price of $3.71 between October 8 and October 9.

However, they are currently facing a loss of $560,000.

Additionally, another whale, identified as 0x64b, withdrew 209,000 EIGEN tokens (~$662,000) from Binance just four hours ago. This particular whale boasts a portfolio worth $106 million and is a significant ETH supplier on the AAVE platform.

With large players like BlockTower Capital and whales making substantial moves, the volatility in EIGEN’s price continues to be a focal point, as investors navigate the ups and downs in this fast-evolving crypto market.
