Global Interest In Real World Assets (RWA) Crypto Surges, Led By The US And Emerging Markets

A recent study from CoinGecko reveals that global interest in Real World Assets (RWA) crypto is on the rise, with the United States leading the charge.

As of 2024, the US accounts for 14.8% of total global interest in RWA crypto, with investors particularly drawn to $ONDO, a protocol by @OndoFinance. Nearly half of the US interest in RWA crypto is centered on this platform, reflecting its strong influence in the space.

Following the US, Indonesia and Türkiye are also emerging as significant players in the RWA crypto narrative. Indonesia represents 10.1% of global interest, while Türkiye accounts for 8%. Unlike the US, these countries are more focused on the broader RWA crypto landscape rather than any single protocol, indicating a diverse interest in the possibilities offered by this evolving sector.

Other countries making notable appearances in the top 10 include India (6.3%), the United Kingdom, France, and Australia. India, in particular, is the only South Asian country to rank in the top 20, securing fourth place in global interest. Brazil leads South America with a 3.3% share, placing ninth globally in RWA crypto enthusiasm.

In Southeast Asia, aside from Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore are also showing growing interest in RWA crypto, together accounting for a significant portion of the global share.

As RWA crypto gains momentum worldwide, it’s clear that interest is not limited to one region. From the US to emerging markets in Southeast Asia and South America, investors are increasingly exploring the potential of blockchain-based real-world assets as the next frontier in crypto innovation.
