Bitcoin enthusiasts will have heard of the PopChest platform before, as this platform is all about video content discovery. Content creators will be able to get paid with Bitcoin, as the platform acts as a pay-per-view initiative.
PopChest Now Supports ChromeCast
Consumers want to consume content wherever they are on whatever device they please, and the Chromecast is one of the more successful portable media players. Various video content platforms have taken notice of this trend and built-in Chromecast support for its users. Bitcoin video content platform Popchest has now done so as well, which makes it easier for users to watch the content they want at any given time.
As one would come to expect, the Chromecast integration will work from any Android device, as long as it is connected to the same network as the Chromecast itself. Moreover, this does not interfere with integrated Bitcoin payments, as they can still be made from the mobile device itself.
Various PopChest users have been waiting for this opportunity, as it is rather annoying to use a browser on a tv to watch a video. However, a lot of people use their mobile devices to watch the video, and casting the video in question to the Chromecast makes the experience even more appealing.
There is another significant reasonĀ as to why content consumers should spend some Bitcoin on the platform as it will effectively turn off advertisements, as well as support the creators. Users who just want to enjoy the platform without paying will continue to see ads, although there is a plan in motion to let users earn Bitcoin from watching ads in the future.
Last but not least, PopChest has made some changes to their content discovery feature, which will improve the overall user experience. One Reddit user pointed out how it would be useful to see how much every individual movie has received in payments so far, as it would give a strong indication as to whether or not that video is worth checking out.
